A Message from the President of the Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police

For more than 72 years, the Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police has stood as the voice of Louisiana's rank-and-file law enforcement officers. Through times of challenge, change, and uncertainty, our mission has remained constant - to protect the rights, benefits, and professional interests of the men and women who serve our communities each day.

Today, the Louisiana FOP represents thousands of active and retired law enforcement officers across our state through a network of local lodges united by a common commitment to service, professionalism, and public safety. We are proud to be the only law enforcement organization in Louisiana exclusively dedicated to representing rank-and-file officers while maintaining a full-time presence during legislative sessions to monitor and advocate on issues affecting law enforcement and public safety.

Our leadership understands that supporting officers goes far beyond legislative advocacy. It means standing beside our members and their families during times of need, providing legal and labor representation, offering training and professional development opportunities, and ensuring that the voices of working officers are heard at every level of government. Whether addressing retirement, security, health benefits, workplace protections, recruitment and retention challenges, or public safety initiatives, the Louisiana FOP remains engaged and actively working on behalf of those who wear the badge.

The strength of our organization comes not only from our membership but also from the communities we serve. Louisiana's law enforcement officers are neighbors, friends, coaches, church members, and volunteers. We raise our children in the same communities we protect and share the same hopes for safe neighborhoods, thriving businesses, and opportunities for future generations.
